From Tyler Parks & Recreation
The IDEA Gardening Series is an informative lecture series covering gardening topics suitable for each particular month. The free lectures are
held at noon on the patio in the IDEA garden, which is located in the southeast corner of Tyler’s Rose Garden. Seating is limited, so you may want to bring a lawn chair for your comfort. The lectures run about 30 to 40 minutes, followed by a question and answer session. The dates
for the fall are as follows:
- Sept. 5 –“Fall Vegetable Gardening” with Greg Grant
Oct. 3 – “From, Bulbs to Blooms” a preview of the Oct. 14 sale event
Nov. 7 – “All about Trees” with Henry Burch
Lectures are sponsored by the Smith County Master Gardener Association. For more information, call the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Smith County Office at (903) 590-2980.
